GWRRA's New Global Affairs Directors: Dan and Rachel Sanderovich
After many years of wonderful service, longtime Global Affairs Director, Peter Russell, is stepping down. Replacing him will be Dan and Rachel Sanderovich. Says Dan: "Both Rachel and I are very honored and excited to step into our friend, Peter Russell's, position as your new GWRRA Global Affairs Directors. Rachel and I live in Israel, have been married for 34 years and have five children and three grandchildren. In regard to motorcycling, I have been riding for more than 35 years; however, it was only six years ago-after I bought my first Gold Wing (a Yellow 2002 GL1800)-that I learned about GWRRA during a visit to Americade in Lake George, New York. Since I was the only GWRRA Member in Israel (and in order to bring the legacy of our Association to my country), I recruited 12 Charter Members and became the Chapter Director of Israel's first Chapter, ISR-A. I was the CD for three years, and I also assisted in creating the second Chapter in Israel-a Chapter of Classic Gold Wings, ISR-B. During the last five years, I have recruited more than 50 new and friendly Israeli Members to GWRRA. Rachel and I both love to ride our Gold Wings. In Israel, we have a Yellow 2009 GL1800 as well as a Blue/Green 1975 GL1000. We also keep a Black 2001 GL1800 in the States for our visits to the U.S.
After having served as District Directors and Deputy Global Affairs Directors, we look forward to assisting all overseas Members of our international organization. And we also intend to help strengthen the relationship between the Members of the U.S. and Canada and their GWRRA family all over the world!" |
