The Fifth Annual 40 To Phoenix ride is here. This awesome event has grown each year since the beginning! The first 40 To Phoenix began in 2010, with 27 bikes arriving at the GWRRA National Home Office (Home Office). That number more than tripeled in 2011 with 90 motorcycles. Our largest year was 2012, with over 250 riders and we're planning on even more this year!
Join fellow Members and ride through three regions, twelve states and two countries! Take the whole trip, or simply join in along the way for any length of time. Riders will depart from Wilmington, NC on Friday, March 7th, 2014 — Meeting March 6th for a BBQ and Blessing of the Bikes. The initial riders "pick up" other GWRRA Members all along the way as they travel about 2,700 miles "coast to coast" through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Mexico. The 40 To Phoenix ride will stop in Phoenix March 12th. On March 13th riders will arrive together and participate in an array of festivities from 9:00am to 3:00pm, including Home Office tours, motorcycle & related seminars, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, music, food, fun and much more, ending with a group dinner that evening!
Although featured, the stop at the Home Office isn't the end. The ride continues March 14th to Chula Vista, California and Mexico.
Come join the ride with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, making history along the way!
