Happy Holidays!

Henry & BoyIt's hard to believe, but 2011 is coming to an end and it's time for the most glorious holiday season of all to begin. If we look back to the events of this year, we find it hard to believe the things that have taken place. We begin in our own neighborhood where a child was born premature and has little chance of a living a healthy life. While others are going about their everyday lives, he struggles and tries to hold on. The touch of love throughout our neighborhood has given this family strength and encouragement.

In other areas, destruction has taken place with storms, floods and other disasters resulting in the loss of personal belongings. Losing loved ones, health, jobs, homes, and other possessions, people are left to wonder what to do or how to start over. With each struggle, we somehow find our way, maybe not as before, but struggling each day we continue on. We get our strength from our faith and our family. We are so blessed that we have family all across this great nation.

In GWRRA our family grows daily and each one means so much to us. As you celebrate this holiday season, remember to be thankful for each day of life, good health and the other things you enjoy. Be especially thankful for your family. Live life to the fullest and help those who are less fortunate or in need.

As you ride, do it safely and visit Chapters, District and Region events, and always be prepared to recruit a NEW Member. They will instantly become another member of your family.

We want to take this time to say "THANK YOU" to all Members of GWRRA. Especially those that volunteer and help the Association grow and prosper. Our sincere thanks goes to Paul and Dottie Hildebrand and Benny and Shirley Garcia for their continued support and great planning that continues to make GWRRA reach higher levels. We would also like to thank Mike and Lori Stiger, Melissa Eason, our International Membership Enhancement Team and the Home Office Team for all the support they have given us throughout the year

Enjoy your holidays!
